How does it work?

Set your budget, describe your perfect artwork and set a completion date. We can discuss your requirements in detail during consultation. You can even send your own images for inspiration. Once the commission is ready to move forward, you pay a deposit to get the ball rolling. When you are happy with the final piece, you pay the remainder. During the time of creation, I will send you photo updates on the artwork's progress.

What can I commission?

Anything you like! Although if you have chosen me to create your art, then I figure you like my style, medium and subject matter. We can use an image from my collection, an image you may own or we can search image collections and license the perfect photo to be used with my mixed media process. All art will be made using the highest quality materials and applied to a birch wood panel with all the hardware attached and ready to hang.

How much will it cost?

It all depends on the size of the finished piece and where finished art will be shipped. You are welcome to set a budget during our consultation. I can give you a few options at that time to meet your goal. You choose the size, subject, color palette and medium. We can also discuss a realistic deadline once you commission the art. My general rule of thumb for pricing artwork is $3.00 per square inch. Below are a few pricing examples.  Half down before creating the art begins and then the final half after completion. Photos of the arts progress will be sent to you at each stage of the artworks progress. That way you can make changes to layout, the right color and personally help create the piece throughout the journey. Personalized art can make an excellent gift.
